The Human Advantage Balancing AI, efficiency and impact in modern Social Procurement operations

Waverley Social Enterprises will host a free breakfast networking event, The Human Advantage: Balancing AI, Efficiency and Impact in Modern Operations, at the Eastern Innovation Hub in Mulgrave. The event brings together manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and operations professionals to explore a question many leaders are grappling with: how do you improve efficiency without losing what makes your business human.

Keynote speaker Kanji Low, AI strategist and CEO of SynapzeAI, will share practical insight into adopting new technology while protecting the relationships, values and judgement that people still expect from the businesses they work with.

The event gives attendees the opportunity to understand the benefits of social procurement through the lens of a leading social enterprise. Waverley will share real examples of how we deliver high-quality packing and assembly services for corporate clients while creating meaningful employment for people with disability, showing how social value and commercial performance work together in practice.

As AI and automation reshape operations, the event will also touch on what sustainability means in this context, not just environmental sustainability, but the sustainability of jobs, relationships and human judgement as technology takes on a larger role.
