Social Procurement Australasia Advocacy Program
The Victorian Social Procurement Framework Sector Insights Report - July 2026
With the Victorian state election coming up in November 2026, Social Procurement Australasia (SPA) is leading a coordinated advocacy effort to ensure social procurement remains firmly on the political agenda. SPA is facilitating a group of key partners to lead a Promotion and Advocacy Program.
Research, collaboration and stakeholder engagement to date has highlighted the scale of positive community impact brought about through the Framework and a demonstrated a shared commitment to continuing to mature, develop and broaden practice across the State.
We want to ensure that decision-makers understand what’s working, where barriers exist, and what improvements are needed to maximise social and sustainable outcomes for communities across Victoria.
As part of this Program, we are pleased to publish below:
our Sector Insights Report - bringing together the results of surveys and interviews undertaken from March–May in 2026 to assess the performance and future of the Victorian Social Procurement Framework (SPF).
A Ministerial Brief highlighting the impact of the Social Procurement Framework and outlining the key actions we are seeking Government to ensure we continue to strengthen the impact of this critical work for Victorian communities.
