McCallum Disability Services and Workforce Australia — Ballarat
Inclusive Pathways in Action: Ballarat Social Procurement Week Showcase
As part of Social Procurement Week 2026, local organisations are invited to explore how social procurement can create meaningful employment opportunities and strengthen inclusive workforce participation across our region.
This special showcase will feature McCallum Enterprises and Raven Collective, two organisations demonstrating the power of purposeful employment pathways for people facing barriers to work.
McCallum Enterprises is a certified social enterprise providing high-quality commercial services while creating meaningful employment for nearly 200 people with disability across Western Victoria. Through services including recycling, document destruction, packaging, landscaping, linen services, timber manufacturing and container processing, McCallum combines commercial excellence with a strong social impact mission.
Raven Collective will share its experience creating specialist employment opportunities for women recovering from family and domestic violence. Their approach demonstrates how ethical procurement and trauma informed employment design can support women to rebuild financial independence, confidence and long term stability.
Attendees will hear directly from both organisations, learn about practical social procurement approaches and gain insight into how inclusive employment models can deliver positive outcomes for individuals, businesses and communities.
